Disney and Bandai Spirits revealed the full lineup of goods fans can win in the Ichiban Kuji event Kingdom Hearts Second Memory. If you’ve never heard of it, Ichiban Kuji is a lottery system by Bandai Spirits to win goods like keychains, posters and figurines for the rarer prizes. Starting November 4, tickets for the lottery, 750 Yen each, will be sold in Seven Eleven and Ito-Yokado convenience stores. And they’ll keep selling them until all the goods have been won by participants.


There are multiple lotteries in Japan specialized in anime, manga and games goods like this. “Kuji” means lottery in Japanese, and they’re all named similarly. One you’d often hear of as well is Web Kuji, which is online only, with the goods shipped to participants.


The best prize you can win in the Kingdom Hearts ~Second Memory~ Ichiban Kuji is a 15cm Sora and Roxas figure. And when I say “you”, I obviously don’t mean you but Japan residents only. Though those kind of lottery figures does end up on auction sites, and you’d have a chance to grab them then:

The other prizes include: Sora and Mickey plushies. A Sora ragmat. Some keyblade shaped cutlery. Multiple mini canvas boards. Notebooks, and Keyblade charms keychains:

All of the items are in limited quantity, and the lucky person who buys the final lottery ticket will receive a Roxas and Axel statue:





The Kingdom Hearts Ichiban Kuji goods were first announced in June 2020, with the Kingdom Hearts series trailer which also revealed Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory. The rhythm game is launching on PS4, Switch, and Xbox One on November 13. Be sure to check our interview with Square Enix on the game.
